Easily integrate your workflow with reporting. This time through GUI. Gesture based reporting with heads up display system. "Fly through" the non-pertinent like a pro and navigate to essential findings.
About our Project
The problem we solve:
RadiusMD helps radiologists work faster and with less fatigue by bringing AI-assisted structured reporting, OCR, gesture macros, templates, voice tools, and education into one workflow. Instead of switching between PACS, RIS, dictation, rigid templates, prior reports, worksheets, and separate learning platforms, RadiusOS provides a lightweight heads-up display over existing systems. It supports auto/manual/AI templating, screenshot and worksheet OCR, PHI-scrubbing, command-line AI tools, RVU calculators, gesture-based template loading, PACS overlay tools, report splitting, and automated report transfer to RIS without API integration. Its customizable interface reduces repetitive clicks, voice dependence, editing time, and neck strain while improving consistency and report accuracy. RadiusMD's long-term goal is to turn daily radiology reporting into continuous learning, including future CME integration, so physicians can improve productivity and focus more on patient care.

About our solution:
RadiusOS is an AI-assisted radiology workflow platform designed to sit on top of existing PACS/RIS systems and improve daily reporting without requiring deep IT integration. The application combines structured reporting, customizable templates, OCR, text expansion, gesture macros, voice commands, and AI tools into one streamlined interface. Radiologists can load templates by numpad or gesture, convert screenshots, prior reports, faxed information, and handwritten ultrasound worksheets directly into reports, and use command-based AI agents for tasks such as adrenal washout calculations, report comparison, differential diagnosis, billing codes, follow-up guidance, and clinical insights. The heads-up display hides when not needed and reopens by voice or gesture, reducing repetitive clicks, typing, dictation dependence, and neck strain. RadiusOS also supports multi-site use, Windows multi-instance workflows, PACS overlay tools, RVU tracking, and automated report transfer to RIS.

Progress to date:
Our prototype is ready and we have beta users testing the product for several years. Initial reviews are positive with users reporting less time involved in creating reports. This is our first community outreach.

Company Mission
Every day, radiologists juggle rising workloads, multi-screen fatigue, and outdated tools — all while staying current with continuing medical education requirements. RadiusMD was built at the workstation, not in a boardroom. Our founders — practicing radiologists and engineers — got tired of tools that made their jobs harder. Our mission is to empower physicians with AI-assisted tools that reduce burnout, improve reporting accuracy, and embed continuous learning directly into clinical work.
Product Overview
RadiusMD introduces a gesture-based AI assistant that overlays existing PACS and RIS systems through a minimalist heads-up display — no extra monitors required. Radiologists navigate anatomy, select findings, and generate structured reports using an intuitive radial menu, reducing repetitive typing and constant head-turning between screens. AI-assisted structured reporting provides context-aware suggestions that improve accuracy and consistency, while CME integration delivers point-of-care education credits automatically as part of everyday workflow.
Market Timing
Radiology is at an inflection point. Physician burnout is rising, imaging volumes are growing, and the industry is navigating rapid AI adoption — yet most reporting tools remain ergonomically poor and disconnected from education. RadiusMD is not a PACS competitor; it is a productivity layer that modernizes existing systems without replacing infrastructure. With a provisional patent filed and a working prototype in hand, now is the right moment to scale before the window closes.
What Crowdfunding Enables
Funds raised directly accelerate RadiusMD's development and reach. A portion goes toward developer time to add features tied to campaign milestones — including advanced CME integration and expanded radial macro support shaped by community feedback. Additional funds cover legal protection and patent filing, marketing to reach a wider clinical audience, IT infrastructure for seamless adoption, and medical consultation to validate and refine the product for real-world clinical use.
For Physicians
Overview
Healthcare providers today face growing pressure to deliver more accurate reports in less time, while also keeping up with continuing education and avoiding the toll of burnout. Our solution directly addresses these challenges by combining AI-assisted structured reporting, gesture-based interfaces, and real-time CME integration into one seamless platform.
Gesture-Based Interface
For radiologists and clinicians, the gesture-based radial menu is a breakthrough in efficiency and ergonomics. Instead of typing long descriptions or toggling between multiple systems, providers can navigate anatomy, select regions, assign findings, and even color-code results with a single click. This reduces repetitive tasks, shortens reporting time, and minimizes the physical strain of constant head-turning between monitors. By keeping everything within a single, heads-up interface, our solution improves focus, prevents musculoskeletal stress, and allows providers to work comfortably for longer periods.
AI-Assisted Reporting
Our AI-assisted structured reporting further enhances productivity by offering context-aware suggestions tailored to common findings, reducing errors and ensuring consistency across cases. This not only saves time but also elevates the overall quality of reporting, which improves communication with referring physicians and ultimately benefits patient care. Providers gain confidence knowing that reports are accurate, standardized, and less prone to human oversight.
CME Integration
What truly sets our solution apart is its integration of CME credits into everyday workflow. Instead of requiring physicians to take time away from their clinical duties to complete separate educational modules, our system transforms daily reporting into a continuous learning experience. Providers earn CME credits automatically while working, ensuring they stay current with evolving best practices without the added burden of extra coursework or administrative steps.
Community-Driven Design
Our community-driven design ensures that providers have a voice in shaping the platform. Through user input, we continuously expand templates and radial macros that reflect real-world needs, giving clinicians tools that are practical, relevant, and tailored to their specialty. In short, our solution helps healthcare providers by saving time, reducing fatigue, improving accuracy, keeping them up to date with CME, and giving them a direct role in shaping the future of reporting.
For Hospitals
Overview
Hospitals are under constant pressure to balance high patient volumes, rising costs, physician burnout, and the demand for quality care. Our solution helps hospitals meet these challenges by streamlining radiology reporting, improving provider productivity, and embedding continuous education directly into the clinical workflow.
Operational Impact
At the operational level, our AI-assisted structured reporting reduces turnaround times for imaging results. Faster, more accurate reports mean shorter patient wait times, earlier diagnoses, and quicker treatment decisions — directly improving hospital efficiency and patient satisfaction scores. By standardizing findings and impressions, our platform also enhances communication between radiology and other departments, reducing errors and unnecessary repeat imaging.
Financial Value
From a financial perspective, the subscription-based model offers predictable costs and significant ROI. Each radiologist using the system can save hours of reporting time per week, allowing hospitals to handle greater imaging volumes without increasing staff. With gross margins comparable to leading SaaS solutions, the efficiency gains translate into measurable cost savings while also driving revenue growth through faster throughput and higher case capacity.
Provider Ergonomics
Equally important, our gesture-based radial menu and heads-up design address a major source of provider strain: the repetitive head-turning and multi-screen navigation common in radiology suites. By consolidating tasks into one ergonomic interface, hospitals can reduce musculoskeletal injuries and burnout, lowering staff turnover and associated recruitment and training costs.
CME Integration
The integration of real-time CME also benefits hospitals directly. By embedding education into everyday reporting, providers stay current with the latest standards of care without stepping away from clinical duties. This improves compliance with accreditation requirements and strengthens the hospital's reputation as a center of learning and excellence.
Adaptive Templates
Our community-driven template and macro expansion ensures hospitals always have access to reporting tools tailored to their specialties and patient population. This adaptability allows institutions to scale the solution across multiple departments — radiology, cardiology, oncology — without needing separate systems.
Summary
Our solution helps hospitals improve patient care, reduce costs, support their clinicians, and strengthen institutional quality, all while positioning them as leaders in adopting innovative, education-driven technology.
For Partners
Overview
Partners in medicine—including referring physicians, academic collaborators, CME providers, and industry stakeholders—play a crucial role in shaping patient care. Our solution supports these partners by creating a more connected, accurate, and educational reporting ecosystem that strengthens collaboration across the healthcare continuum.
Referring Physicians
For referring physicians, our AI-assisted structured reporting ensures that reports are clear, standardized, and consistent. This reduces ambiguity, eliminates the need for follow-up clarifications, and accelerates decision-making for patient management. Faster, higher-quality reports improve communication between radiology and frontline care teams, fostering stronger partnerships across departments.
Academic & Research
For academic and research collaborators, our system integrates CME and continuous learning directly into the workflow. This means providers are constantly building knowledge as they work, creating opportunities to collaborate on new findings, validate AI outputs, and share insights across institutions. The community-driven development model, which incorporates feedback on templates and radial macros, ensures that academic voices can directly influence product evolution in ways that benefit teaching hospitals and training programs.
CME Providers
For CME providers and medical education partners, our platform represents a unique channel to deliver accredited content at the point of care. By embedding CME directly into the reporting process, we help providers meet certification requirements more efficiently, while CME partners benefit from a new, high-engagement distribution model that ties education directly to clinical practice. This creates a sustainable revenue and collaboration opportunity for educational organizations aligned with our platform.
